Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception to it. Our receptionists are instructed to follow this policy and rules. There fore, to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate your paying attention to the following:
- the advance payment of 50% will be non-refundable.
- When the total amount of the reservation is paid to freeze the price, it will become totally non-refundable and cannot be modified
- Once the deposit has been paid, if the guest decides to shorten the stay, the part of the deposit that has already been paid will not be refunded
- The changes in the reservation are subject to availability and must be required at least one week in advance

We will send you a cancellation confirmation by email right after your reservation is canceled.Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. But bare in mind that we may not always be able to accommodate last minute changes as we depend on availability and how busy the hostel is.Towels are only included in the price for rooms with private bathroom.Bedding and towels are NOT gifts and must remain in the hostel.NO SMOKING POLICIESSmoking is not allowed inside the hostel. It is only allowed in the yard, in the open air.Consider the following: we can immediately end up the reservation if:There are more guests than agreed staying in the room- Excessive noise is made during set hours of silenceThe room you have reserved is sublet (or given to other people). The number of people staying in the room and in the establishment must be the same as that confirmed in the reservation. GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTERTAIN OTHER VISITORS ANYWHERE INSIDE THE HOSTELSmall pets are only accepted in private rooms. Pets cannot climb onto beds. In the event that your pet may cause property damage, a fee will be charged proportional to the market value. All our guests are asked to respect the quiet hours and not make excessive noise between 12:00 am and 08:00 am. No parties are allowed.Giramundo is not responsible for personal items lost or left in the hostel.DAMAGESwe want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get really crazy, we stick to the old rule of "you break it,you buy it" and property damage or missing items will be charged at market value.
